Toxicity travels: NAMF rebrands as NWEF

It takes a lot more than a change of name to restore the reputation of a damaged brand…

Suppose you are eager to move forward with your determined but illegal mission to undermine secondary legislation but your plans have been hit by a series of serious high court losses.

Not only illegality, but also  a spectacular juxtaposition of incompetence and malevolence on your part, mixed with gross lack of judgement. Plus hubris. And arrogance. And sheer bloody-mindedness.

What are your options here?  Do you:

a) Learn from your errors and seek to quietly, but determinedly, rebuild your group’s reputation?
b) Put your group’s  ambitions on hold and invest in some capability-development training?
c) Simply change the name of your clandestine organisation?

But … a successful rebranding involves overhauling the goals, message, and culture – not just changing a name.

Unfortunately, it seems like Lesley Ann Knowles, the chair of NAMF  NWEF didn’t get the memo.

The Chair announced she had chosen the new title for the group from suggestions previously discussed and provided to her. The new name of the group being National Wellbeing and Engagement Forum (NWEF). A discussion was held around whether using the word engagement in the title of the forum may cause confusion. However it was agreed by the group that without engagement wellbeing may not be achieved, since effective engagement being important to receive and act upon the voice of the workforce.

Wellbeing‘ & ‘Engagement‘… Blurgh!!

Should be ill-being & alienate. NAMF has chosen to rebrand themselves with a new acronym, the words of which mean the opposite to their true objective.  Words they’ve pulled straight out of the psychobabble and buzzwords prevalent in HR jargon.

Changing the name of their ‘organisation’ will not make it any more acceptable. Neither will it attach any credibility to anything that they say!
They want to leave out PTSD? This diagnosis is now proving to be a physical condition due to alterations it causes to the brain, according to vital medical research, although NWEF probably would not give any notice to those things either. Probably just as well because the way that Police IOD pensioners are being dealt with by today’s HR’s and SMP’s could actually be responsible for a lot of it! The stress they cause with the wording of letters sent to IOD Pensioners is threatening and abusive!
The NWEF ‘clique’ will become more and more obviously repulsive by the amount of information now getting through to IOD pensioners about every word and intention of the LAWFUL IOD pension rules and regulations thanks to IODPA!

One good thing is that now the offenders can be identified and now are members of an organisation that can be prosecuted for the offences they are committing! Conspiracy being the most obvious!

When they stated the term PTSD should be avoided, isnt this conspiracy to commit fraud. Are they so arrogant that they will ignore a recognised illness diagnosed by a expert to deny some one a pension. Oh thats exactly what they do, a FMA in the Met told me exactly that, he ignored reports from 2 proffs and denied I had complex PTSD.
The term mental health well being is meaningless and has no basis in medicine. Perhaps West Mids police should investigate the conduct of the DEC 2016 meeting and what the intention of not using the diagnosis of PTSD was.

Item 7a didn’t get much time 2.00 to 2.30 with two other subjects. Just a gloss over then, having spent most of the morning on their new name.

More corruption from a vile group of individuals.

I hate them even more for how they try to circumvent the law.

Well done for bringing it to our attention.
