Well said, police management is and always has been the same they never learn they are to intent upon covering their own backs and looking for the next promotion. If these people ever used their police gained management skills in industry they would fail and they would loose their jobs. It is the fault of the system that this culture exists, rapidly promoting persons directly from university with degrees with no management or real life experience whose soul aim is to gain promotion with little police experience and regardless of how they achieve it and at whose expense. The police are also reluctant to rid themselves of these managers before they reach positions of power as to do so would indicate fault in the selection process.

Why am I not shocked!? Because I have had almost the same treatment. Luckily I survived my attempts at ending it all.
